Waterfront Living in Mid-Beach
Set on seven acres on the shores of Surprise Lake in Miami Beach’s Mid-Beach neighborhood, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach brings together lake, marina, and ocean living in one private address at 4701 North Meridian Avenue. Across the water lies the La Gorce Island community, and the beach, the Miami Beach Golf Club, and the restaurants of Mid-Beach and South Beach are minutes away.
Completed in 2019, the community is the first architectural project in the United States by Piero Lissoni, the Milan-based architect known for work from the Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem to Shanghai’s Swire Hotel. Lissoni designed every space to open toward the water and gardens, so the line between indoors and out nearly disappears.
The Residences
The 111 condominium residences range from one-bedroom homes of about 1,350 square feet to penthouses of more than 6,300 square feet, with up to five bedrooms. The 15 stand-alone villas, completed in 2022, offer roughly 3,300 to more than 5,000 square feet with three or four bedrooms, plus the privacy of a single-family home and full access to the community. Interiors feature:
- Custom interiors by Piero Lissoni, with private elevator foyers in most residences
- Boffi kitchens with stone countertops and a full Gaggenau appliance suite
- Boffi bathrooms with stone floors and walls, glass-enclosed rain showers, and soaking tubs
- Glass-wrapped terraces, with plunge pools and summer kitchens in select residences
- Hurricane-resistant windows and doors throughout
